Paul Green - Canadian publisher

Paul Green passed peacefully at home in Toronto on May 2, 2024. He was 77.

Raised in St. Catharines, Ontario, Green graduated from the University of Toronto in 1970. Shortly thereafter, he formed Solstice Publishing and continued the publication of Ski Canada magazine for more than 50 years. Green helped the publication navigate changes in ownership and the transition from print media to digital publishing.

One of Green’s legacies is the annual Ski Canada gear test, which relied on a volunteer group of skiers to evaluate equipment each season. Green had recently sold the Ski Canada business due to health concerns.
