Al Raine - Coach, resort developer, mayor

Alan E. Raine, innovative coach of the Canadian Alpine team from 1968 to 1973, husband of Nancy Greene Raine and a transformative executive at ski resorts across western Canada, died December 14, at age 83, of ALS. A celebration of life is planned at Sun Peaks on January 15. Skiing History will run a full-length tribute in the March-April issue.
