This Norman Rockwell oil painting of life on a snow train was originally conunissioned by the Saturday Evening Post for its January 24, 1948 cover. A reproduction of the painting, courtesy of the American Illustrators Gallery, is part of the Beekley Collection at the Mammoth Ski Museum in Mammoth Lakes, California. The original painting resides at Centaur Galleries in Las Vegas, Nevada.
