Ski cross in, women's jumping Terry Bell, CanWest News Service; Vancouver Province VANCOUVER - The 2010 Olympics are more than three years away and already there are winners and losers. Ski cross - a freestyle ski event that's modeled on snowboard cross - was voted into the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler at an International Olympic Committee meeting Tuesday in Kuwait City. Yet women's ski jumping, the only Winter Olympic sport that's still men only, was excluded. ''I'm extremely disappointed today,'' said Ski Jumping Canada chairman Brent Morrice. ''I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach. It's the right thing to do and usually the right thing perseveres. I'm very disappointed in the IOC.'' Read the full story at Canada.com.
